Description:
Design firms are often put in a position to advise Owners of Contractor insurance requirements for drafting of their Owner-Contractor agreements. This can put a design firm at risk of offering advise on a topic for which they often have limited experience, and are not insured. This program will review typical insurance coverage carried by Contractors, how it differs from a design firm's program, and discuss the pitfalls of making coverage and limit recommendations to the Owner.
